To unite academics, artists, and custodians of traditional knowledge and their practices.
Ahmedabad: Anant National University is set to host two significant events: the International Conference on Indigenous Knowledge Systems and Practices: Designing Sustainable Futures from February 21 to 23, 2025, and the WITH Festival 2025 on February 21 and 22, 2025.
The conference will serve as a worldwide platform for scholars, practitioners, and policymakers to engage in significant discussions about incorporating Indigenous knowledge into modern practices. It will include keynote speeches from esteemed academics and will have members of the KIVA Family participating alongside other speakers.
The WITH Festival 2025, under the theme ‘Borderless – Global Indigenous Futures,’ will honor Indigenous storytelling through modern media. Highlights will include traditional Kashmiri folk artists, a skateboarder-rapper from Madhya Pradesh, and a rock-fusion band from Meghalaya sharing Khasi tales, along with many other talented performers.
