Gujarat : The Gujarat State MSME & Vendor Development Panel of the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) is excited to introduce the fourth episode of its Fireside Chat Series, called “Igniting the Flame of Gujarati Family Businesses.” Join us for this insightful session on Friday, August 9, 2024, from 4:00 PM to 5:30 PM, held virtually.
The Fireside Chat will showcase a distinguished guest, Mr. Piruz Khambatta, Ph.D., who serves as the Chairman of the Rasna Group. With vast expertise in the Agri and FMCG industries, Mr. Khambatta is actively engaged in various societal endeavors. He holds the prestigious position of Hon. Consul General for South Korea and Chairman of the CII National Committee on Affirmative Action & Special Abilities. Additionally, he has held roles such as the Past President of the All India Food Processors’ Association (AIFPA), Past Chairman of CII Western Region, and Chairman of the CII National Committee on Food Processing. Moreover, he is the Founder and Trustee of the Areez Khambatta Benevolent Trust and Rasna Foundation. As an Ambassador for the Make in India initiative and a Champion of Change (NITI Aayog), Mr. Khambatta will impart valuable insights from his extensive leadership experience in the corporate realm.
The discussion will be led by Mr. Bhavik Khera, who is the Convenor of the CII MSME & Vendor Development Panel and the Managing Director of SEE Linkages Pvt. Ltd. Mr. Khera will host an interactive conversation with Mr. Khambatta, centering on the experiences and strategies that have contributed to the success of well-known Gujarati family businesses.
